"10/10 - Powerplay Magazine"

Karnataka are a symphonic progressive rock band featuring an international line-up of musicians. The band released a new studio album this year ‘Secrets of Angels’ recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios. The album has received widespread critical acclaim in all the major rock publications including Classic Rock, Prog magazine, Powerplay and Fireworks as well as many web based magazines. The band are signed to Gonzo Media/Plastic Head. Winners of the Classic Rock Society’s Best Band, Best Album and Best Female Vocalist awards.

The band's powerful live performances have entranced and captivated audiences across the UK, USA and Europe and also seen them perform alongside prestigious artists such as Robert Plant and Porcupine Tree. The new album features Troy Donockley from Nightwish.

“The booming drums, swathes of strings, haughty, harmony-laced vocals and chugging guitar sound more stirring than ever on galloping-across-the-plains anthems like Borderline and Road To Cairo, and symphonic rock fans will surely lap it up. It hits the spot in some style.”  Classic Rock

“The strongest selection of material the band have produced to date. a sense of power and drama hitherto unequalled in their repertoire... Secrets Of Angels is a triumphant work.”  Prog magazine

“Karnataka have stepped up to the mark in what can best be described as quite outstanding fashion.”  Fireworks Magazine

“Secrets of Angels is one of the best releases of this year so far. 10/10” Powerplay Magazine

“Secrets Of Angels’ is a triumph; an album that runs the full gamut of emotions and leaves no stone unturned in its quest to powerfully move anyone who takes

the time to sit down with it and listen. Hands down, the band’s finest hour.”  Echoes And Dust

“Wonderful”  Bob Harris Radio 2
