Mr Kyps Live Music venue is located in Poole, Dorset, UK. We are a dedicated live music venue, NOT a pub. Regarded by many touring bands as one of the best 350 capacity venues in the country, we provide excellent sound, great views of the bands from all parts of the venue, very reasonably priced drinks and a particularly friendly atmosphere.

Gig listing are updated daily. However if you are traveling any distance, please contact the club before leaving to minimise the chance of a wasted trip. Unfortunately, Mr Kyps Ltd accepts no liability for any losses incurred under any circumstances.

Support Band slots available NOW!


If you are in a good quality LOCAL rock, blues, folk, jazz, prog, country-rock, soul or funk band and would like a support slot at Mr Kyps, Please call Romin or Kyp on 01202 748945 or email info@mrkyps.net and you could be sharing the stage with a legend before you know it!

NOTE: Whilst we will not rule out support bands from out of the area, you will have to convince us of your ability to attract people. We are looking for bands who have the ability (or willingness) to sell 30+ tickets to their own friends/fans. There are a number of local bands who earn more money than they could at any other local gig so give us a call if you want to do the same.

Please note, due to the large volume of demo CDs we receive, it is not always possible to get back to everyone.

We do listen to every demo that you send to us, and if you are of interest or we want more info, we WILL get back to you.

We are not here to provide you with a musical critique of your band. It takes all sorts and you are not all for us!

What we need from you
1 Name of Band
2 Contact DAYTIME Name/email address/mobile number
3 CDs only please No more than 5 tracks (preferably live)
4 Good Picture of band and sample poster
5 Suggested audience type
6 List of previous gigs
7 Why you think you can attract over 120 people at our venue
8 All information Type/Printed (we can't read your handwriting half the time).
