Mr Kyps Live Music venue
is located in Poole, Dorset, UK. We are a dedicated live music
venue, NOT a pub. Regarded by many touring bands as one of the
best 300 capacity venues in the country, we provide excellent
sound, great views of the bands from all parts of the venue, very
reasonably priced drinks and a particularly friendly atmosphere.
Please note: Discrepancies in prices listed in all media including
this website are rare but may occur. In ALL cases the box office will be correct.
Refund Policy : Mr Kyps regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, except in the case of a cancelled show. In the unlikely event of a show being cancelled we will give you the choice of a full refund or a ticket exchange for another show of equal value. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Gig listing are updated daily. However if you are traveling any
distance, please contact the club before leaving to minimise the
chance of a wasted trip. Unfortunately, Mr Kyps accepts no
liability for any losses incurred under any circumstances.
Deep Dub Bass blended with Big Beats and spiced with a groove of its own. This is the format that The Dub Pistols have formulated since 1996 and it has worked a treat. Fast forward to 2010 and you have one of the very best live acts in the UK at the moment.

What better way to celebrate St Paddys day than with The Lady Winwood's Maggot boys. For over 15 years The Maggots have been spreading Death Western to the South Coast with finesse. You can be sure that they won't disappoint on any occasion and always get the room moving.
Support comes from The Jack Ratts, not many people are better placed to play this Irish festive day than these boys. Pouges influenced Irish punk at its finest, all washed down with a generous helping of guinness.
So dig out your cowboy hat and shoelace tie and get ready for a good old knees up!
The stunning Perfect Alibi are back for a very special show. Long standing frontman Rick is leaving the band and this special date at Kyps is one of the very last show's he will play with the band.

Imperial Leisure have conquered crowds across the UK, playing festivals such as Glastonbury, Camp Bestival and Bestival, not to mention (illegitimately playing in the car parks at) Reading 2007, Fruitstock and LoveBox, as well as springing spontaneous guerilla gigs on unsuspecting but hugely appreciative crowds in shopping centres, parks and on beaches around the UK.
Now its Poole's turn as Imperial Leisure arrive at Mr Kyp with their own brand of rock steady, party hip hop and mosh-pit inducing punk.The show comes with live brass, decks and keys, their music is a killer combination of neat beats, great tunes and irresistibly catchy hooks.
